MEET JESS...
Jessica Tomlinson is a multi-instrumentalist from Manchester. She is passionate about creating exciting, accessible and engaging performances. She has an active freelance career, playing regularly in pit bands and orchestras around the country. In 2019, she played with the Piccadilly Symphony Orchestra, Jersey Symphony Orchestra, Southwell Festival Orchestra and finished the year playing woodwind 5 for the Thursford Christmas Spectacular in Norfolk.

MUSIC FOR HEALTH AND WELLBEING
Jess is passionate about taking music to whoever needs it! She is a Live Music Now musician and frequently performs and runs workshops and residencies in SEND schools and care homes around the North West. She is also part of their music as medicine project at Alder Hey Children's Hospital.Â
Similarly, she is a music-for-health practitioner for LIME: Music for Health currently based at Royal Manchester Children's Hospital and Wythenshawe Hospital.
EDUCATION
Jess graduated in 2018 from the Royal Northern College of Music with a Distinction Masters, studying with Nicholas Cox, Antonio Salguero and John Bradbury. She previously studied at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance graduating with First Class Honours, where she studied with Michael Whight and Melanie Henry. As part of her masters training, she played with RNCM Symphony Orchestra at the Bridgewater Hall and for the Cantiere Music Festival in Italy.
